BMC Mindfulness Coach Level 1
Level 1 certification is for the members of the BMC community, certified coaches and experienced mindfulness practitioners. Programs are delivered residentially and online.

The Level 1 programs are intended for:

Mindfulness is often perceived as a practice that enables us to calm down and de-stress which is often enough to create curiosity and initiate the practice. Through the research in the field of neuroscience it is observed that eight weeks of 20 minutes daily practice will provide measurable change in brain’s gray matter.
This program is open for all practitioners interested in establishing a non-certification practice.
Weeks 1 & 2: Overview of Meditation and different meditation styles
Weeks 3 & 4: Practice focus on calming the mind
Weeks 5 & 6: Practice focus on body awareness
Weeks 7 & 8: Practice focus on emotional balance
This program is required for Certified Coaches
This program is open for advanced mindfulness practitioners who are interested to assist others in their mindfulness practice. We cover basic coaching principles related to confidentiality, session agenda and specific skills that apply in different coaching scenarios. This is a four weeks residential program and each session is 2,5 hours long.
Week 1 Coaching Essentials: Ethics and Confidentiality, Coaching Agenda, Core Coaching Skills
Week 2 Coaching Tools: Wheel of Life and how to apply it during a coaching session
Week 3 Wellness Coaching: What areas of coaching are related to wellness, Healthy Habits, Stages of Change
Week 4 Mindfulness Coaching: The role of awareness in a coaching session
